Rajasthani Samaj of Hong Kong is a non-profitable association established and registered under Societies Ordinance (Ref. CP/LIC/SO/19/24042) since 25th day of August 2000.
Membership of Samaj is strictly restricted to "Rajasthani" - Hindu, generally known as "Marwaris" residing in Hong Kong and Greater China and ethnically belonging to the State of Rajasthan in India.
Its only association in Hong Kong that has working committee called "Sewa Committee" where each committee member enjoy equal authority and responsibility.
The objectives of Samaj are to organize and form a body of Rajasthanis residing in Hong Kong for the purpose of doing Public and social work, arrange social functions and entertainment programmes and activities, to encourage and foster friendship and understanding among members.
Rajasthani Samaj has been organizing cultural and get-together programmes on occasions of Makar Sakaranti, Holi (Festival of Colours), Diwali, Teez etc. and also participated in relief work contributions during natural disasters such as Earthquakes, Tsunami, Floods etc.
